Dr. Sophie Farrell

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM)

Sophie has been working at Clinton Veterinary Services for 10 years.
 
Sophie has been practicing Veterinary Medicine since 2007. Sophie purchased Clinton Veterinary Services from Drs. Robin and Peter Wiley in 2011.
 
Sophie and her husband Jon have three children, two dogs and one cat
 
What Sophie loves most about her job is that every day is different!
 
Something that you may not know about Sophie is that she enjoys Martial Arts and has a passion for Classic Rock, Punk and Heavy Metal music!

Dr. Tara Plante Frischknecht

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM)

Tara has been working at Clinton Veterinary Services for 3 years. Tara has one dog named Kenzie, a Brittany Spaniel rescue from Texas. What Tara loves most about her job is interacting with both people and animals and that every day is different!

Something you may not know about Tara is that she is from Rhode Island!  She loves to travel and has visited over 23 countries including working in the UK.  Tara has also worked with Veterinarians without Borders (VWB) in Tanzania.

Cassandra

Veterinary Technician

Cassandra has been working as a Veterinary Technician at Clinton Veterinary Services for over 3 years.

Cassandra has two children; Reaghan and Nash as well as two cats; Vinny and Parker (also affectionately known as Skinny Minnie Vinny and Porker Parker), and one dog named Charlie.  Over the years in the Veterinary field, Cassandra has brought home only 2 cats and one dog to join her family!

What Cassandra loves most about her job is watching a patient reunite with their owner after surgery, and making a full recovery.  She also loves to meet the new puppies and kittens! 

In 2019, Cassandra is looking forward to the the always advancing discoveries that help to improve the care of our pets. As a vital member of the healthcare team, an Vet Tech assumes many different roles. 

Something you may not know about Cassandra is that she sometimes has a hard time handling dog drool!

Dorothy

Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)

Dorothy has been a Registered Veterinary technician for 42 years and has been working at Clinton Veterinary Services for 16 years.
 
Dorothy has four children and seven grandchildren. 
 
Dorothy has two dogs; Layla and Shadow, and four cats; Philo, Lucy, Minnie and Clara.  Over the years, at least a dozen or so of both cats and dogs (including grand-furkids and god-furkids) have become family pets since Dorothy began working in the Veterinary field.  Some of Dorothy’s animals have been rescues and that came with their names, while others represent specific things such as “Mini’, Lucy (elusive to catch) and Philo (fighter).
 
What Dorothy loves most about her job is that she gets to work with animals.  In 2019, she is looking forward to learning more about new developments in clinical pathology as well as animal behaviour information.  As a vital member of the healthcare team, an RVT assumes many different roles.

Something that you may not know about Dorothy is that she is a Pisces!

Jon

Office Administrator

Jon has been working at Clinton Veterinary Services for 6 years.
 
Jon is married to Dr. Sophie and together they have three children, two dogs and one cat.
 
What Jon loves most about his job is working with numbers, people and pets!
 
Something that you may not know about Jon is that he has a second degree Black Belt in Karate, a diploma in Agriculture and a degree in Agricultural Science.

Elaine

Reception

Elaine has been working at Clinton Veterinary Services 6 years.

Elaine has five cats; Spider, Webster, Lucky, Mocha, Coal, Patchwork and Monkey, two dogs; Boo and JoJo and 4 horses; Strait, Taz, Cocoa and Fritz. What Elaine loves most about her job is interacting with the clients and their wonderful pets.

Something that you may not know about Elaine is that she can make baby cows!

Elysse

Reception

Elysse has been working in the Veterinary field for over 13 years and join the team at Clinton Veterinary Services 7 months ago.

Elysse has 1 dog named Bayden, 1 cat named Momma, a hamster named Wally T. and 2 fish tanks. What Elysse loves most about her job is interacting with all of the pets and their people!
